
Dr.Chowhan has been a Pediatrician for nearly 20 years. Originally from Northern California. She attended U.C Berkley with a Bachelors in Molecular Cell Biology. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine (B.C.M) in 1996. She went on to train and work as a Clinical Professor at B.C.M in Neonatology and Emergency Medicine. She relocated to Northern Virginia which is her home where she started her own practice 14 years ago. She enjoys spending her free time with her own 2 children and loves music, building Legos and making slime.

Angela Montgomery is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Originally from Waterford, Connecticut, she has been working in the pediatric nursing field for 9 years. She started as an RN in the Neonatal ICU and then proceeded to work as a Nurse Practitioner in pediatric primary care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 2014. She proceeded to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College in 2017. She also holds her international board certification as a lactation consultant. She has lived all over the country with her family since her husband served in the US Army for 10 years. She joined Premier Pediatrics in the summer of 2023. Angela loves working with children and their families. Her special interests include nutrition, development, lactation, and neonatal care. When she is not working Angela enjoys exploring Northern Virginia with her husband and two daughters.

Lauren Miller is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, board certified with the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Lauren received her Bachelors of Science of Nursing in 2009. She practiced as a registered nurse for 5 years in pediatric hematology/ oncology and obtained a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2013. She has practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner since that time, primarily continuing to work in pediatric hematology. oncology, but also has experience in palliative care. Lauren joined Premier Pediatrics in September 2022.
Lauren is originally from Clearwater, FL where she met her husband. They have 2 dogs and enjoy boating and traveling.

Sofia Y. Khan, FNP-C
Sofia is a licensed certified family nurse practitioner. She has nine years of clinical experience working as a registered nurse on a medical surgical floor at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, and most recently at INOVA Fairfax Hospital providing care for postpartum mothers and their newborn babies. She received her bachelors of science in nursing degree at Stratford University in 2013, and completed her masters of science in nursing degree in January of 2023, and became certified as a family nurse practitioner in March of 2023. Sofia has a passion for working with children, and strives to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors during childhood, as well as equip them with the education and resources they need in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle through adulthood. She has an empathetic and caring personality, and always ensures that her patients and families feel comfortable in sharing their concerns. She collaboratively works with families to find the best way to manage their child’s health concerns, as well as making sure they are up to date with preventive health measures. Sofia loves to spend time with her family, practices yoga and meditation, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. She is passionate about self-care measures and highly values making time for yourself in order to have more compassion in taking care of her family and patients
